Platform launches with over 20 corporate clients, representing more than $10Bn AUM
London, 06 August 2025: Daymer Group today launches its independent fiduciary and consulting services, in London and the Cayman Islands, targeting investment management and growth stage companies. At launch, the firm has over 20 clients managing over $10Bn AUM, including three of over $2Bn AUM. London-based clients include a multi-billion-dollar distressed credit fund manager, a near-billion-dollar credit fund and a billion-dollar commodity fund manager.
Daymer Group primarily serves the investment management industry, including funds, structured products, special purpose vehicles, and corporate structures across sectors. It also serves growth stage companies, providing consultants and filling fractional c-suite roles to allow companies to scale quickly, without the administration associated with increasing permanent headcount. Daymer Group features eight directors and consultants at launch, which include former C-suite executives, partners and senior leaders from multiple sectors, providing independent insight and advice, ensuring improved governance standards and credibility for its clients.
The founder of Daymer Group is Cayman-based Richard Scott-Hopkins, a Chartered Accountant (ICAS) who has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector and currently serves as a director on the boards of several hedge and private funds and advises structured products and regulated and unregulated investment management entities. Formerly an audit and advisory partner at KPMG, where his clients ran a range of investment strategies including equity, credit, global macro, event-driven and quantitative, Richard’s most recent role was in Governance, Risk and Compliance at Centralis.
Based in the Isle-of-Man, Grant Harding is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW), and Certified Public Accountant (AICPA), with over 15 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on public and private equity markets, credit, and technology driven businesses. He serves as a Non-Executive Director on the board of a PE investment manager and has held senior leadership roles across investment management and e-commerce platforms. He was recently Principal Finance at Amazon Business in the United States and has completed an MBA at MIT.
General Counsel Katrina West joins Daymer at launch from a multi-billion private credit firm where she was the in-house funds General Counsel and performed the Chief Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer roles. She also sat on the risk, operations and valuation committees as well as establishing a presence in Abu Dhabi. Katrina has previously worked at Brevan Howard and Horizon Asset Management.
Founder Richard Scott-Hopkins said: “There is a demand for a credible, nimble alternative to the established consultancies, concentrating on key disciplines of premium fiduciary and management consultancy. Clients are already responding positively to our combination of deep experience and collaborative culture; we’re now looking forward to expanding our global footprint and services in the coming weeks.”
